Psychotherapy
A holistic, integrative, and soul-led roadmap to change.
Psychotherapy is a process of self-inquiry and collaboration with a therapist to understand yourself better. Insight is gained by discussing our personal history and our patterns of behavior. It is my goal to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where people can express their views, fears, and beliefs without judgment.
Over the years, I have worked with clients on a variety of issues and have discovered my strengths in helping others. To find out if I can help, reach out for a free consultation to discuss further.
The Therapy Experience
My approach to counseling is grounded in an existential–humanistic perspective, which means I see healing as reconnecting with your sense of choice, meaning, and direction in life. I view emotional pain not as something that needs to be “fixed,” but as important information about where you may feel disconnected from yourself or your values. Together, we explore what may be happening beneath the surface, including patterns, fears, beliefs, or expectations that developed over time and may no longer be serving you.
Drawing from attachment and intergenerational trauma perspectives, we may also look at how early relationships, family roles, and inherited beliefs shaped the ways you learned to cope, relate, and protect yourself. This work isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding how those patterns once helped you survive and deciding what you want to carry forward now. I also integrate a feminist and anti-oppressive lens, recognizing that many struggles are shaped not only by personal experiences but also by social expectations, power dynamics, and emotional burdens people were never meant to carry alone.
At the same time, my work is informed by somatic and energy psychology approaches and theory, meaning we pay attention to what your body is experiencing as part of the healing process. When the nervous system is stuck in survival mode we work towards building a sense of safety, grounding, and emotional regulation before moving into deeper exploration and trauma processing. Influenced by Jungian and depth psychology perspectives, I approach intense emotions, recurring patterns, dreams, or inner imagery with curiosity rather than judgment, seeing them as meaningful messages from your inner world rather than problems to suppress.
I honor spiritual or intuitive experiences through a transpersonal helping you to integrate them in ways that strengthen stability and self-trust. As therapy progresses and a stronger foundation develops, the work becomes more future-focused and collaborative, supporting you in imagining new possibilities and moving from simply getting through life toward living in a way that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
To support this process, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches and tools. These may include EMDR to help process difficult or unresolved experiences, cognitive and motivational techniques to shift unhelpful thought patterns, and mindfulness or meditation practices to build awareness and calm. I also incorporate experiential approaches such as guided imagery, parts work (exploring different aspects of your inner experience), Hypnotherapy/ Hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), and elements of Yogic Philosophy and practice (Asana + Pranayama/ Movement + br
Not every tool is used with every person. Instead, we work together to find what feels most supportive and effective for you. My goal is to create a flexible, collaborative process that honors both mind and body, helping you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and trust in yourself.
