Client Compatibility

How to know if we are a good fit.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.
— C.G. Jung

My ideal clients are individuals who are making the choice to “wake up” and live a more conscious life. My goal is to provide a safe space to discuss these challenges and to rise above them.

Most clients come to me after having been in therapy for a while. They have tried other modalities (talk therapy/analysis-based work) and are frustrated with the lack of results. They no longer want to relive their pain anymore and move on for good.

In addition to feeling ready to make some big life changes, they want to do so holistically. They want to heal at the root and believe that doing so is possible.

I want everyone who invests in this process with me to feel as if they are confident in their decision. Compatibility between clients and therapists is so vital to a healing process. I know I am not meant for everyone. When compatibility is present, I find that I am exactly what is needed to get to the next level of health and growth.

If you haven’t done so already, I recommend you read the home page to learn more about my background and experience to help you with your decision.

How I work

My integrative approach combines evidence-based practice with complementary and alternative interventions to engage multiple systems of the body in the healing process. The intention is to work holistically at the root of suffering and support meaningful, lasting change. We cultivate balance by addressing the nervous system, subconscious beliefs, physical movement, nutrition, and related lifestyle factors. All modality options are discussed and explored. I offer recommendations based on clinical expertise, and the methods used are ultimately chosen collaboratively with you.

Shared Philosophy

Here are some of my beliefs and theoretical orientation about healing.
Check in with yourself to see if there is an alignment here for working together.

  • Self-love is the foundation for all healing

  • The body has an innate capacity to heal if given the right environment and tools to do so

  • Our mental health-based symptoms are both emotional and physical

  • Our physical and emotional health are connected

  • Embodiment and somatic work is key to healing your nervous system

  • Some of our trauma is inherited (intergenerational)

  • The challenges we face in life are learning opportunities also known as soul growth opportunities

  • Everything is energy, including the work done in therapy

Get to know me

In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am also a yoga teacher, energy healer, and trance-loving hypnotherapist.

Outside of sessions, I feel most alive exploring the natural world. I love hiking, road-tripping, and traveling. I’ve visited 19 National Parks and counting, and make the pilgrimage to Sedona at least once a year. Vast landscapes remind me that growth rarely happens inside our comfort zones. Travel asks us to be brave, curious, and willing to keep moving forward one step at a time.

Astrology has always been a lens through which I understand personality, patterns, and human potential. My Sun in Ariesreflects a core drive toward courage, initiative, and authenticity. This energy fuels bold action and the willingness to face challenges, helping me encourage clients to explore difficult emotions and situations with bravery. My Cancer Risingshapes how I show up in the world, making me highly intuitive and emotionally perceptive. It allows me to tune into subtle emotional currents and create a safe, supportive environment for clients to express themselves openly.

My Sagittarius Moon governs my inner emotional landscape, inspiring curiosity, exploration, and a search for meaning. It allows me to help clients step back from situations, see the bigger picture, and connect with their own sense of freedom and possibility. Together, my Sun, Rising, and Moon blend courage, empathy, and curiosity, giving me a unique perspective in understanding clients’ experiences and supporting them as they navigate change.

InHuman Design, I am a Manifesting Generator with a 1/3 profile (Investigative Martyr). Manifesting Generators have abundant energy and adaptability, allowing me to respond fluidly to each client’s needs while keeping sessions dynamic and engaging. The first line (Investigator) reflects my natural drive to deeply understand patterns and underlying causes, while the third line (Martyr) represents learning through lived experience and experimentation. This combination helps me guide clients using practical insight, intuition, and real-world strategies that support meaningful change.

I am an Enneagram Type 4, the Individualist. Fours are introspective, emotionally attuned, and deeply committed to authenticity. They notice beauty and meaning in places others might overlook and are comfortable exploring the full spectrum of human emotion. This perspective influences my work: I create space for clients to honor their uniqueness, embrace vulnerability, and uncover the hidden strengths and beauty within their stories.
