Client Compatibility

How to know if we are a good fit.

“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.”
— C.G. Jung

I want everyone who invests in this process with me to feel as if they are confident in their decision. Compatibility between clients and therapists is so vital to a healing process. I know I am not meant for everyone. When compatibility is present, I find that I am exactly what is needed to get to the next level of health and growth.

If you haven’t done so already, I recommend you read the About Me page to learn more about my background and experience to help you with your decision.

My ideal clients are individuals who are making the choice to “wake up” and live a more conscious life. My goal is to provide a safe space to discuss these challenges and to rise above them.

Most clients come to me after having been in therapy for awhile. They have tried other modalities (talk therapy/analysis based work) and are frustrated with the lack of results. They no longer want to relive their pain anymore and move on for good.

In addition to feeling ready to make some big life changes, they want to do so holistically. They want to heal at the root and believe that doing so is possible.

What is Mind Body Therapy?

My personal definition of Mind Body Therapy is when we engage multiple systems of the body on a healing journey. The intention is to use a holistic approach to get to the root of suffering and create a new reality. We cultivate a sense of balance among the systems of the body by addressing our nervous system, our subconscious mind, physical movement, nutrition and more. All modality options are discussed and explored . I make suggestions based on my clinical expertise, but ultimately the methods used are up to you, the client.

Shared Philosophy

Here are some of my beliefs and core philosophy around healing. Check in with yourself to see if there is an alignment here for working together.

  • Self love is the foundation for all healing

  • The body has an innate capacity to heal if given the right environment and tools to do so

  • Our mental health based symptoms are both emotional and physical in nature

  • In order to heal our mind we have to tend to our physical body, they are connected

  • Embodiment and somatic work is key to healing your nervous system

  • Some of our trauma is inherited (intergenerational)

  • The challenges we face in life are learning opportunities also known as soul growth opportunities

  • Everything is energy, including the work done in therapy
